Great game against the Reds

We had a great time at the game today. Made tons of new section friends, and the crowd was really into it, which was nice in comparison to the last time we went. I didn't even have to yell at anyone to take off their hat. John and I tailgated as usual, though it was so windy, and the weather couldn't decide whether it was supposed to rain or not the whole time. Lots of people got totally douched by the thunderstorm, which was pretty funny, but our cheap seats are totally covered by the overhang, so we were good to go.
It was nice to see Ken Griffey Jr. hit one out (no.601) where it didn't hurt the Yanks, unlike when he was with Seattle. The Stadium crowd according to one article I read said the crowd gave him a standing ovation. I didn't see everyone stand, but we did give a good cheer. Talked to a bunch of Cincinnati fans that came to see the game, and they all seemed pretty nice.
Jack brought his nephew Ashton, who was a lot of fun. He kept trying to show us some dance move called the "Sprinkler," which looked nothing like a sprinkler, which got a good laugh. That's when he wasn't scared of our new buddy Brian in the row behind us. See the following freakin' hilarious blog his friend Mike was kind enough to post: http://whenlivescollide.blogspot.com/2008/06/bud-light-salutes-you-mr-mr-way-to.html.
A lot of people yelled hip hips on the way down the ramps, which was nice. Bunch of people wanted to take pictures, which was pretty funny. I wonder if they'll remember in 10 years who the fat Mexican is in their pictures at the Stadium? =p Hoping we will get even more people signing up for our section page of Facebook. The Yanks won, there were tons of wet girlies, laughs all around. Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon.
